No ID verification required: Unlike Yubo, Genzigs lets you start chatting in seconds. No selfies, no ID scans, no waiting.
What is Yubo?
Yubo (formerly Yellow) is a social discovery app popular among teens and young adults. It features live streaming, swipe matching, and group video chats. The app focuses on building a social media-like experience for meeting new people.
However, many users find themselves searching for Yubo alternativesdue to several friction points:
- ID verification required: Yubo requires selfie and ID verification, which many users find invasive
- Age segmentation: Yubo separates its audience into different access groups, limiting the pool for adults
- Social media format: More focused on followers/streaming than one-on-one connections
- App-only: No web version, requires download
- Subscription costs: Premium features require monthly payment
How an Adults-Only Text Chat Differs From Yubo
No ID Verification
Yubo requires you to upload selfies and sometimes ID documents. Genzigs just asks you to confirm you're 18+. No photos of yourself, no ID scans, no biometric data collected. Your identity stays private.
Instant One-on-One Connections
While Yubo focuses on group live streams and building follower counts, Genzigs delivers what many actually want—direct, private conversations with interesting strangers. No audience, no performance pressure.

Genzigs focuses on text chat, perfect for meaningful conversations:
- No camera required
- Complete visual anonymity
- Private one-on-one conversations
- No live stream pressure
Browser-Based Freedom
Unlike Yubo which requires an app download, Genzigs works right in your browser. Visit on any device, start chatting immediately. No storage space, no app permissions, no installation wait.
