Talk Rainbow Six Siege Operators & Maps

What Siege Is About

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is Ubisoft's tactical shooter, released in 2015: attackers against defenders in rounds where walls and floors can be broken. Planning matters as much as aim, which gives players a lot to talk about.

Common Conversations

Most chats include one of these:

• Main attacker and main defender
• Favourite map and the site they always play
• Roaming versus anchoring
• Ranked and the season that felt worst
• How the game changed since launch

Friendly Is Better

Siege can be tense. Asking for advice on one operator is a good way to keep a chat relaxed.

Strategy Is The Real Topic

Siege players love explaining setups: which walls to reinforce, where to place utility, when to rotate a hole and how to deal with a fast push. Ask someone how they would defend a site on their favourite map and you can get a long, detailed answer. It's one of the few shooters where talking through a plan is as fun as playing it.

Drone work and sound are popular too. Many players say they improved by listening more and peeking less, and comparing headset habits is an easy way to start.

Teammate Etiquette

Good Siege players share information calmly: a quick callout, then quiet. In chat, keep the same spirit. Swap stories about a clutch or a team-kill disaster without blaming anyone, and you'll find people who want to keep talking.
