FIFA Became EA SPORTS FC
EA's football series was called FIFA until FIFA 23. From 2023 the games are released as EA SPORTS FC, so many players still say "FIFA" for the new titles. Mention which year you play so nobody talks past each other.
Where Conversations Usually Go
Most chats split into a few camps:
- Ultimate Team: squad builds, packs, Squad Building Challenges and weekend rivals
- Career Mode: long saves with one club, youth academy finds and transfer budgets
- Pro Clubs with friends, and the one position nobody wants to play
- Which old FIFA edition felt best to play, and why
Keep Rage Out Of It
Everyone has a story about a last-minute goal. Swapping those is fun; blaming the game for every loss gets old quickly. Ask how they set up tactics instead.
